Payments: A Swift-accredited service bureau and member, our Payments division provides NGOs, institutions and non-profits the ability to make a local difference, globally – with transparent pricing across 180+ countries and 140+ currencies.

 

Position Purpose: The Product Manager role is key in the Product team as this role is responsible for the design and management of products and features used by the StoneX Payments teams and their clients. We are looking for an innovative and dynamic payments Product Manager to work alongside the Product Management group to build out solutions focused on revenue generation, cost- savings initiatives or an operational process improvement using the latest trends in both data management and global payment flows. 

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

  • Serve as the Product Owner for API and Client Integration Solutions
  • Responsible for collecting, clarifying and prioritizing the product requirements with business departments, based on mindset of maximum value realization
  • Work with the Development team to define and prepare user stories following confirmation of the business requirements
  • Create and manage the product backlog with prioritization
  • Communicate with the development team for product features implementation and prepare the development timeline/delivery rhythm;
  • Lead the sprint planning, sprint review meetings to ensure deliverables are aligned with business expectation;
  • Lead the retrospective meetings to ensure continuous team and process improvement;
  • Set up product delivery team and manage project budget (including contract), resource, and scope;
  • Be responsible for product design, development, quality assurance, UAT cycles and sign off before project “go live”
  • Work with internal and external customers to design End-to-End integration solutions for our client systems
  • Manage a team of Senior Business Analysts
  • Communicate and interacted on a regular basis with the Head of Product Management, Operations and Development team during different stages of the project.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Extensive experience in payments and FX space, ideally with a global financial institution or a Fintech company
  • Understanding of differences between High Value Low Volume and Low Value High Volume Payments business
  • Knowledge of Spot and Forward Rate calculation
  • Knowledge of communication systems with banks through SWIFTNet, SWIFT FileAct, API integration, FIX, secure FTP etc.

 

What makes you stand out: 

  • Payments processing experience including building API and client integration solutions
  • Proficient in different SWIFT message types including but not limited to SWIFT MT9xx, MT103, MT202, MT300, MT199, MX Messages (ISO 20022)
  • Experience managing a product team
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team oriented environment

 

Working environment:

  • Hybrid 3 days in officer per week
