Job Purpose

This role offers a Derivatives Sales, and Trading  experience in a dynamic and incredibly successful Global Metals Trading business The Sales Trader is a hybrid Sales / Trading role; the execution point for both Corporate and Institutional clients. As well as finding and providing liquidity for these customer sets, the role involves idea generation, cross product content delivery and market intelligence. The overall objective of this role is to learn about commission generation, liquidity sourcing and be a conduit for the customer base into the Base Metals market while working closely with the Analytical, Trading and Sales teams on the LME desk facilitating day to day business.

Responsibilities:

- Manage trade capture for all Base Metals
- Monitor all risk/booking is correct
- Assist the Team in monitoring Risk platform and troubleshoot any trading/non trading issues

- Assist the team with administrative processes
- Learn strong governance and controls
- Provide risk management hedging solutions (futures and options) to the Base Metals market
- Market StoneX’s execution capabilities, contribute to team strategy and deliver a high level of customer service
- Develop new relationships, cement current relationships, and share existing relationships with StoneX colleagues
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation

To land this role you will need:

QUALIFICATIONS

- A-Levels in Mathematics 

- Previous experience in either physicals or derivatives preferably in Base/Precious Metals is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of commodity derivatives (including futures, options, swaps etc.)
- Have a driven, entrepreneurial, and commercial mind-set with focus on profitability

- Knowledge of Excel and Python

- Excellent numeracy skills
