Responsibilities

Department Overview

The StoneX Metals team in London accounts for more than 50 years of aggregated experience and trades both Industrial and Precious metals as well as Forex for industrial clients in 27 countries worldwide. We trade from Copper or Aluminum to Gold or Silver across the metals listed derivatives in the London Metals Exchange (LME) and London Bullion Market Association(LBMA). Our client base goes across the whole value chain of metals from extraction in the mines to refine, production, trading and recycling.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Develop fundamental expertise and charting analysis in commodities markets
  • Learn pricing and execution in Base and Precious metals markets as well as FX
  • Dealing with customer enquires in a timely manner
  • Helping develop and automate many of the manual process’ in place
  • Understand the desk’s business strategy and processes flow

Early Careers Requirements

  •  Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating by July -August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a June 2026 start date for a 10-week program
  • Must be fully authorized to work in the UK for any employer.

 

Working environment:

  •  In-office ( minimum 4 days in the office)
