Responsibilities

Job purpose

To support a busy broking and risk management desk of in order to enhance product offering to new and existing client base.

 

General Duties

  • Support a busy brokerage and trading desk including maintaining databases, preparing trade recaps and general brokerage desk administration.
  • Work with Market Intelligence team in drafting market recaps and analysis reports.
  • Develop fundamental knowledge in commodities market/s and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the products and markets in which you will work.
  • Participate in pre- and post-trading operational duties including trade reconciliation, trade booking, etc. in compliance with regulations and internal company policies
  • Establish and maintain relationships and connections in the Commodities Market
  • Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, responsibility, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Understand the risks and controls on your desk; what could go wrong, what controls you must prevent/detect or contain these
  • Observe standards of market conduct and ensure you are aware of, understand and comply with all regulatory, exchange or clearing house requirements applicable to your role

 

Qualifications

  • Introductory knowledge of the Exchange Traded Futures and Options markets
  • Exposure to and interest in futures, swaps and options preferred

Early Careers Requirements

  •  Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program ( Agribusiness ) and graduating in 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available from Jan 2026 start date for a 6 months
  • Must be fully authorized to work in the Ireland for any employer

 

Hybrid

  • Hybrid with minimum of 4 days in the office
