Position Purpose:

To provide operational support for FX activities, ensuring smooth trade flow, accurate settlements, and effective communication with clients and Prime Brokers.

 

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include: 

  • Monitor FX positions and cash balances for Prime Brokers and clients.
  • Match trades and verify trade flow in internal systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate swap adjustments.
  • Check FX swaps (O/N, T/N, S/N).
  • Monitor daily balances and reconcile against Prime Brokers and clients.
  • Send daily netting figures to stakeholders.
  • Investigate discrepancies in FX positions or cash balances.
  • Reconcile Excel cash sheets with internal systems.
  • Prepare and verify client/PB payments post-netting.
  • Confirm banking transactions match internal records.
  • Liaise with treasury on payment issues.
  • Book FX Spot and Swaps for internal desks.
  • Reconcile and sign off PB balances daily.
  • Notify Front Office of late/missed settlements.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Quick learner with new systems
  • Organized and communicative
  • Numerically skilled
  • Able to work independently and in teams
  • Product knowledge (preferred): FX, Spot, Swaps, Forwards, NDFs, Options

 

Working environment: 

  • Hybrid
  • Fixed Term Contract 6 months
